Megadeth, Testament, Exodus To Team Up For North American Tour

The mighty MEGADETH will join forces with TESTAMENT and EXODUS for a month-long jaunt that will find these thrash titans crisscrossing the nation on the "Rust in Peace" twentieth anniversary tour. These will be incredibly special shows that will delight MEGADETH fans, as the band will be playing their landmark, genre-defining album, 1990's "Rust in Peace", in its entirety, in addition to other MEGADETH set list favorites.

The tour will kick off on March 1 in Spokane, Washington and will run through the end of the month.

The dates are as follows, with tickets going on sale this Friday, January 29.

Im really excited about this. I'm definately going to go and it's a nice surprise after the Deth, Slayer, and Testament tour was postponed. This will be the first time ever Megadeth will play "Five Magics", and "Rust in Peace...Polaris" live. Also Testament will be playing their entire "Legacy" album on tour so this should be special. It would be even better if Exodus played "Bonded By Blood".

Rams Head is a pretty interesting venue. I like how they have tv screens around the whole place so you can see the stage even if your view is blocked.

Yeah I imagine it's going to be packed so trying to find an unobstructed view will be pretty hard. 9:30 Club would probably be a better venue to see it in but screw DC.

Cheap Trick was packed! We got there right when the doors opened and we had no chance of getting floor space. We went to the second floor Mezzanine area and sat at the bar.

Now that is an amazing setlist! I can't believe on top of that I get to hear Testament play the whole "Legacy" album live and some Exodus.

Megadeth has pretty much had the same setlist for the past 10 years haha.

The only difference is that now instead of playing half of Rust live they'll play the entire thing.

I still would love to mosh to Take No Prisoners though.

Thats true. But the other half of RIP either hasn't been played in 15 years or has never been played. It's been like 15 years since they played Lucretia or Poison Was the Cure I believe. "Five Magics" and "Rust in Peace...Polaris" have never been played.

Two kids reportedly jumped up on stage during MEGADETH's March 25, 2010 performance at the Verizon Wireless Theater in Houston, Texas, in the process infuriating the band's frontman Dave Mustaine, who proceeded to give them a tongue lashing. Mustaine ended up going on a diatribe relating the experience back to "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott's (PANTERA) murder in 2004.

"I really don't say a lot from the stage, but those two little fucking assholes that just came up here on stage... We lost a very dear friend of all of ours in the state of Texas, we lost Darrell because some fucking piece of shit came up on the stage behind him and shot him," Mustaine said. "You know what I'm talking about, right?" He continued, "Listen, if you're gonna come up on the stage tonight, just know you're fair game. And if you're gonna stay out there, you're my friends, and if someone comes up on the stage and tries to fuck with me, I want you to help me. We'll take him outside and we'll give him a good old-fashioned Texas fucking beatin' . . . One thing is for sure - those little fuckers got thrown out before I could get hold of them." He then said, "This next song ['Head Crusher'] I'm gonna dedicate to them, or the death of them, actually."

After noticing a kid in the crowd who was giving Mustaine the "middle-finger" salute during the "Head Crusher" introduction, the MEGADETH frontman stated, "Oh, you're flipping me off. Oh, you big bad-ass. Oh, you're so tough, aren't you? Look at you, aren't you a cocksucker. Yeah. You're flipping me off." He continued, "Hey, I wonder what his mother is doing, but I don't think sucking dick is really important." He added, "This is what happens when your cousins fuck you, you stupid fuck.
