Beacuse of HellsHeroes post in the favourite song thread and because I found a new one, I make this thread I already made in the old forum:
It is all about quotes you found in the lyrics (or music?) of the allmighty Army. First of all to the stuff we found so far:

- So Grim So True So Real, of course, quoting Metallica's '...and justice for all'
- 'My empire of dirt grows warm in my heart' ('When hatred comes to life'), quoting Jhonny Cash (that one was found by some other member, so I hope I got that right)

I think there was a third quote we found, but I can't remember it right now.

So, let's get to the new stuff:
The new quote I found, listening to some Slayer these days:
In their 'Reign In Blood' album (maye some of you heard of it...? ) on the track 'Reborn' good old Mr. Araya says 'When my hatred comes to life'. Now, this one don't has to be a Slayer quote, because it is usual english in the end but on the other hand it wouldn't surprise me if Johan lsitened to that album more than once...

Since Johan likes to watch some movies from time to time (as I guess by reading his 'Confessions') this could have really been an inspiration for that title. On the musical site I always felt that 'Hell Is For Heroes' sounds a lot like Metallica's 'Welcome Home (Sanitorium).

Now it's up to you guys...let's find some more of these!

Yeah, you`re right on the stuff concerning "Grim" and "Hatred". I`ve borrowed the quotes from these songs that are mentioned below. But I just want to say that they have nothing to do with these songs or artists. They`re just cool quotes and titles that fits my lyrics very well.
Maybe there are some more stuff on the album which doesn`t come to my mind right now, because when I write, I do it without thinking that much of it
and also because as I`ve quoted some of my favourite artists it comes very natural to me. No big deal really but it`s cool that you`ve paid attention to it.

When it comes to Hell is for heroes it was more like a coincidence. But I have actually seen the movie after I wrote the song:-)
