A permanent fog of red and orange after a nuclear fallout; people walking around in a dusty haze with 2 inches of protective clothing and biomasks; rusted cars and oil rigs that go on forever; buildings destroyed; people starving and hiding from roaming, psychotic cannibals and killers. I'll take door #1 over that very good and refreshing Borknagar song. AEP

Goobs this going to be tough. I like both songs. I'm going to have to listen to these two for a while and see which one fades first. the score so far: AEP- 3 Universal- 1

I got to go with Universal, the red harvest track was allright...i think they played the main riff too much and im not a big fan of the electronic elements of the song.

Definitely Red Harvest!!! I think it's 1st time I heard from them, but I love it instantly. I also put STGM on my list of albums to check out. Mix of industrial and metal usually doesn't appeal to me, but this is more mechanic than melodic (i.e. more industrial than metal), it sounds more like Ministry than, say, Strapping Young Lad.

I have to go with Borknagar. I think that with songs like this and Colossus they are great. I get pissed when they try to be black metal. It is lame. The Red Harvest track was extremely high quality industrial metal however.

I'm still having a hard time deciding between thsese two. I think Universal is a good song but I keep on thinking of how it's not as good as Collosus and it drags on a bit. AEP has good punch and cool sounds but not alot of depth....Hmmmm AEP would have been a cool song in "District 9" (what a cool movie!). the score so far: AEP- 6 Universal- 5

AEP was some very cool industrial. Universal was some good avant garde BM. I'll go with Universal. Vortex has my vote, and my heart.
