Here is where we pay homage to one of the greatest films in the history of modern cinema.

While FGF begs a comparison to Jesus' parable of The Prodigal Son, I feel there is also a deeper level to Gord Brody. He's a paradigm of the modern man. Life isn't perfect; we are bound to make mistakes. It is how we handle these mistakes that make us great. After Gord got fired from the cheese sandwich factory and was forced to move back home with his parents he could have just given up like most of us would. But no, through hard work, determination, and a little encouragement from Betty, he was able to achieve his dream - getting a comic book contract. From this, we take away that we are all capable of achieving great things whether we realize it or not. We all have specific talents, we just have to know how to utilize these talents and have the drive to reap the benefits of them. FGF is such a powerful story.

I didn't like it because I thought it was incredibly boring. I think that if I watched it in a gigantic group of people it would be hysterical, but as a stand alone movie it's not that funny.

When I'm driving and there are some people crossing the street I'll always fake like I'm honking the horn and yell "Get the fuck outta the way!"
Also whenever somebody asks "what am I supposed to do with this?" or something along those lines I always jump at the opportunity to tell them "well, you could stick it up your bum bum".

If I ever got a tattoo it would be of the drawing that Gord shows the comic book guy. And whenever somebody asks what it is I'd be like "it's a banana... uh with a bag of baboon eyes... with sauce... uh dripping." It'd be great.

The simple fact that there is a Thread dedicated to the movie makes me wanna kill myself. Still, there are much worse movies out there, some making FGF look like The Godfather. Repo! The Genetic Opera for example. And Revenge of the Fallen.

Repo! The Genetic Opera was trying extremely hard to get in with the Rocky Horror crowd and unfortunately it succeeded. A much better choice is Cannibal! The Musical.
