Not sure if any of you people read 'em, but there are some good ones out there. The Sandman is the best one I've ever read. Any favs?

I want to read Maus but I've enjoyed Akira (more than the movie actually) and From Hell.

I also dig R. Crumb and Harvey Pekar but they aren't really graphic novelists.
