Computer is fucked - Metal-R.US

I just have a basic Hewlet Packard Pavillion laptop and it is fucked. Was working fine earlier today, but I brought it home to school, opened it up and it will not start up normally, go into safe mode, or even go into the "fix problem" set up without freezing or rebooting and freezing. The computer was fine hours before, but it just totally Dimebagged on me.

I am going to call the service line, if they aren't worth a barrel of cocks I'll try geek squad. If they aren't worth a bowl of dicks then I will have to find something else to wank to.

It gives me a blue screen that says "Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area"

i went online and found absolutely nothing.

Sounds like a memory problem to me. Try to reseat your memory banks...

I called the geek squad and this is what they said

"put your windows installation disc in, press f12 and completely reboot your windows"

well, it costs 200 bucks if i bring it in, so i might as well try everything.

ps: Dennis, I have no idea how to do that lol. I am a computer tard.

it means open her up look for the memory and make sure its sitting correctly there

hmm.. i'll take ze look and yep, everything appears to be fine.

I cannot go into safe mode, the closest i could do was get halfway into a system restore, but every time try to do something, it says "Page_Fault_in_nonpaged_area"

The store says it'll cost 200 bucks to fix and keep memory, 150 to fix it and flush it. Luckily, my mom has a friend who works for the computer company so hopefully she'll fix it for free.

theres a possibility that the RAM is bad with that message. if you have 2 sticks, take one out and try to boot it, if it does it still, try the other stick. also, i assume you hit f8 during the post and tried last known good configuration, might fix it

pressing F8 makes the computer scream... not fun at 3 am in the morning.

And yep, these are the new computers that don't come with "recovery discs" and i was too much of a dolt to make them myself so I'm gonna have to pay for it with Christmas money.

Looks like no snowboarding for me.

hehehe lolz. Ubuntu is the only Linux i'd use. We'll have i have my machine dual booted but I dont use it often... i liek teh grub loader.
