Dublin Death Patrol

I just got the Dublin Death Patrol, DDP 4 Life cd.
I am not much for writing long reviews so you will just have to take my word when I say it has been a long time since I have loved an album so much from the first listen. Wow what a rocker! Old school thrash! The originals are killers and the cover tunes more than pay tribute. I give it a "can't lose" recommendation.

small warning: there is 1 ballad, yuk! and the last song has indian chants, there you have it.

I like the old Slayer philosophy regarding ballads.

"We don't like slow shit so we don't play it." I do like when Tom says "This is one of our many love ballads because as you all know Slayer is about about love. This is DEAD SKIN MASK!" Oh Tom...

I'd love to hear a few tracks from some good ole thrash. I thought thrash bands were really dying out compared to the massive death, black and power metal scenes forming.

Don't forget Germany's 'ole' thrash scene is more alive than ever! Sodom, Kreator, Destruction, and what about Holland's Legion of the Damned? I gotta try DDP once, so I hear
